The Microsoft Sentinel Deployment Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Sentinel solutions to enhance our clients' security operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Sentinel, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients to meet their security needs.
Responsibilities
- Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Microsoft Sentinel solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with their security requirements and best practices.
- Integration: Integrate Microsoft Sentinel with other security tools and platforms, including SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence solutions.
- Customization: Customize Sentinel dashboards, queries, and alerts to meet specific client needs and optimize the effectiveness of the solution.
- Monitoring and Support: Monitor the performance of Microsoft Sentinel deployments, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to clients on the use and management of Microsoft Sentinel, including best practices and advanced features.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of Microsoft Sentinel solutions.
Qualifications
· Experience: Proven experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM solutions.
· Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Sentinel features, including log analytics, workbooks, playbooks, and data connectors.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
· Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure: Hands-on experience with other Azure services and solutions.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and customization.
