Business Analyst with 6-9 years of experience


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective solutions. This role involves working closely with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional requirements, and system specifications.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create clear and concise requirement documents, including use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and fostering collaboration.
  • Solution Design and Validation
  • Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.
  • Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that they meet business needs and function as intended.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases, and coordinate testing efforts with stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of business processes, requirements, and solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing analysis, findings, and recommendations.
  • Document and track changes to requirements and ensure they are communicated effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Project Support
  • Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.


Required Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
  • Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with business process modeling, workflow analysis, and data analysis.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company's operations (Insurance, Wealth Management, Lending, VAS).
  • Familiarity with project management practices and tools.
