Hiring Head Chef for Hotel Udichi Regency


Job Description:

  1. Culinary Leadership: Lead the culinary operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  2. Menu Planning and Development: Design innovative menus that align with the hotel's culinary concept, local tastes, and seasonal ingredients.
  3. Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
  5. Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure consistency in food preparation, plating, and service.
  6. Cost Control: Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or guest satisfaction.
  7. Supplier Management: Source and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
  8. Menu Costing: Calculate recipe costs, set menu prices, and regularly review pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  9. Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, respond to guest feedback, and resolve any food-related issues promptly and professionally.
  10. Creativity and Innovation: Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and best practices, incorporating new ideas and concepts into the menu offerings.
  11. Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
  12. Event Catering: Coordinate with the events team to plan and execute catering services for special events, weddings, conferences, and other functions.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.


Job Location: Shantiniketan, West Bengal

Annual CTC: 5 Lakhs / PA
