Embroidery Designer

• Collaborate with fashion designers, apparel brands, or garment manufacturers to understand design briefs, themes, and desired embroidery motifs for garments.
• Develop original embroidery designs or adapt existing designs to suit garment specifications, ensuring they complement the overall aesthetic and style of the garment collection.
• Recommend appropriate embroidery materials, including threads, fabrics, and backing materials, based on garment fabric, construction, and design requirements.
• Convert finalized embroidery designs into digital embroidery files compatible with embroidery machines, optimizing stitch types, densities, and colors for the chosen garment fabrics and production techniques.
• Produce embroidery samples or prototypes to test design viability, stitch quality, and color accuracy on actual garment fabrics, making adjustments as necessary before bulk production.
• Work closely with garment production teams to schedule embroidery production timelines, allocate resources, and coordinate workflows to ensure timely completion of embroidered garment orders.
• Maintain detailed records of embroidery design files, production specifications, quality control reports, and client approvals for reference, audit purposes, and future reorders.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in garment design, embroidery techniques, and textile innovation to incorporate fresh ideas, styles, and technologies into embroidery designs and production processes.

Qualifications:

• / Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in Computerized Embroidery Designing and production within the textile manufacturing industry.
• strong communication skills to liaise with internal team.
