Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Psychotherapist as a full time role to work for an organisation to provide confidential, one-on-one online counseling sessions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mental health challenges, experience in online therapy, and a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive environment for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for clients dealing with mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, using various evidence-based techniques such as CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy.
-Maintain a confidential, non-judgmental, and empathetic virtual environment, ensuring the highest ethical standards in all online interactions.
-Provide ongoing support and resources between sessions, as appropriate, and stay updated with the latest research and best practices in online therapy.
-Comfortably conduct therapy through video, audio, and chat-based sessions, building rapport and providing a supportive space for clients.
Qualifications:
-A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field from a recognized institution.
-Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, especially in an online setting.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in providing psychotherapy, preferably in a virtual setting.
