Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning & Coordination:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure the successful delivery of esports events and initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, production, operations, and partnerships to align project goals and ensure seamless execution.


2. Resource Management:

- Identify, allocate, and manage resources, including internal team members, external contractors, and vendors, to ensure optimal project execution.

- Monitor resource usage, adjust allocations as necessary, and maintain efficiency to keep projects on track and within budget.


3. Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.


4. Risk Management & Problem Solving:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines, quality, or outcomes.

- Proactively address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption.


5. Quality Assurance:

- Ensure all project deliverables meet the organization's standards for quality, consistency, and strategic alignment.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify best practices, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.


6. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring all costs remain within approved limits.

- Report on financial performance, including any variances and potential cost-saving opportunities.


7. Event Management:

- Lead the planning and execution of esports tournaments, overseeing all logistical elements such as venue coordination, scheduling, staffing, and participant management.

- Ensure that events are delivered seamlessly, enhancing the overall experience for participants, spectators, and partners.


8. Team Leadership:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.


9. Process Improvement:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Analyze project outcomes and incorporate learnings into future initiatives to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:


- Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the esports, gaming, or entertainment industry.

- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, within scope, on time, and within budget.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong focus on risk management and conflict resolution.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

- A passion for esports and a deep understanding of the gaming industry is highly desirable.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
