We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team and write engaging written content for Muses. At your core, you’re a wordsmith with a flair for snappy and captivating storytelling. You live and breathe language, especially modern, contemporary language of Gen-Z, effortlessly adapting your tone to suit different audiences and platforms. From quick social media captions to long-form blogs and everything in between, your writing leaves no room for mediocrity. Your eye for detail is unmatched, and you thrive on brainstorming fresh ideas full of puns, references and witty remarks. Company Description:
Muses Consulting Studio is the premier marketplace for student services, facilitating marketing partnerships between student groups and companies. Our past expertise ranges from content creation campaigns, and brand ambassadorships to campus event activations. Muses has a history of successful collaborations with industry leaders such as Amazon Studios, Warner Brothers, McDonalds, and Doordash, as well as numerous innovative startups.
We are on the hunt for someone who understands what makes the youth, the Muses of the future, and the clients that can partner with them, tick. Think of somebody caffeinated and wide-eyed who is ready to work VERY hard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Copywriting: Write engaging and brand-aligned content for the Muses website, ensuring clarity and cultural relevancy.
- Email Campaigns: Develop compelling and consistent email content that captures the attention of our Gen-Z audience as well as the brands trying to cater to them, keeping them informed and engaged.
- Thought Leadership Development: Produce white papers, LinkedIn articles, and other high-value content to establish Muses’ authority in Gen-Z marketing and student engagement.
- Social Media Content Creation: Write scripts, captions, and posts for all Muses’ social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring engagement and alignment with current trends.
- Business Development Materials: Develop persuasive and professional content for pitch decks, proposals, case studies, and other sales and business development assets.
- Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest Gen-Z trends and language to keep content fresh, relevant, and impactful.
- Video & Scriptwriting: Create scripts for video content, including promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, and other multimedia content.
- Event & Campaign Content: Write copy for event promotions, campaign collateral, and post-event summaries or success stories.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices into all digital content to ensure discoverability and search engine ranking improvements.
- Content Planning: Contribute to the content strategy by brainstorming ideas and drafting editorial calendars in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Cross-Channel Adaptation: Tailor content for different platforms, ensuring it’s optimized for audience engagement across each channel (e.g., short, snappy copy for Instagram vs. in-depth storytelling for a blog).
- Content Library Management: Maintain an organized database of content assets to ensure easy accessibility for future use.
Qualifications:
- Proven Writing Experience: 1-3 years of experience in content writing, preferably in a digital or brand-focused role.
- Gen-Z Expertise: Deep familiarity with Gen-Z language, culture, and communication preferences.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy that speaks to a young audience.
- Creativity: A creative mindset, with the ability to come up with fresh ideas and new angles for content.
- Attention to Detail: Strong editing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for clarity, tone, and accuracy.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous work, demonstrating your ability to write compelling and engaging content.
Note: Please note that this position requires availability primarily during EST and PST hours, which falls in the timeframe of 6:00 PM - 5:00 AM IST. We request that only candidates who can work within these specified hours apply. This role is entirely remote.
