GenAI and LLMs represent an innovative and readily accessible technology that is revolutionising the world. However, effectively integrating this technology at an organisational level necessitates careful context setting and the utilisation of crucial tools such as custom-built models and advanced retrieval technology on customers data. These components must be seamlessly woven together to create an intuitive user experience that is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of each use case.


We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Applied (Senior) Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), to join our team. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and advancing generative models using cutting-edge LLM technologies. Your role will involve conducting research, staying updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and LLMs, and actively contributing to the development and maintenance of code libraries, tools, and frameworks to support generative AI development.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Understand content creation nuances and build AI-based smart product flows to craft a revolutionary user experience for the use case
  • Design and implement advanced generative models using Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Devise smart automations in the content lifecycle using GenAI technologies.
  • Take ownership of software development on an end-to-end basis, from design to testing to deployment and maintenance.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and LLMs.
  • Develop and maintain code libraries, tools, and frameworks to support generative AI development.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold high code quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering and Design) to align messaging, contribute to roadmaps, and integrate software into core systems.
  • Analyze similar product offerings and identify differentiation opportunities that can be worked upon.


The ideal candidate must -


  • Have 3+ years of Data Science / Machine learning experience
  • Have 3+ years of experience working in Product based companies
  • Hands-on experience with Python programming.
  • Proficiency with LLM technologies such as Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, LLaMA, or similar models.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills.
  • Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Knowledge of vector databases such as GCP Vector Search, ChromaDB, Pinecone, pgvector, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with finetuning LLMs for custom tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with function-calling + tool usage capabilities for LLMs
  • Knowledge in the evaluation frameworks for testing performance & output quality of LLM performance on downstream tasks.(eg OpenAI evals etc)
  • Hands-on experience in building & deploying LLM first apps in production.
  • Familiarity with LLM Agentic frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate across the organisation to develop and execute cross-functional strategies
  • Highly experienced in collaborating with top-level executives in large corporations
