We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing SaaS company. In this role, you will work on developing high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-performance apps. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development process, from coding and bug fixes to performance optimisation, all while working within an agile environment. We are looking for immediate joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS using React Native.
  • Implement new features and optimize existing code to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and collaborate with backend teams to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Build native modules and use JavaScript to enhance app functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and business analysts to align app features with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to foster continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Ensure adherence to best coding practices through regular code reviews and thorough documentation.
  • Utilize tools like Jira for bug tracking, project management, and agile sprint planning.
  • Work alongside QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth app integration and continuous improvements. App publishing will be handled by the DevOps team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development with React Native.
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining both Android and iOS applications.
  • Proficiency in React Native, including knowledge of JavaScript and creating native modules.
  • Solid experience with API integration and managing data communication between mobile apps and backend services.
  • Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and debugging tools.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS core file structures, such as build gradle, podfile, etc.
  • Experience optimising performance and memory utilisation in mobile applications.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior developers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration practices.

Additional experience with native Android development (Java/Kotlin) and iOS development using Xcode (Swift) is a plus.
