Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Design and implement data models and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and availability for reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Optimize performance and efficiency of Tableau and Power BI dashboards.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of dashboards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and business intelligence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau-related/Power BI issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and data governance processes related to Tableau/Power BI development.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Tableau developer or Power BI developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI, including data modeling, visualization development, and dashboard design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle,Hadoop or MySQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
