Job Description:

As a Blue Planet Optical SDN Controller Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and integrating Blue Planet's Optical SDN Controller into our clients' network environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment, while also providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design and architecture of Blue Planet Optical SDN Controller integration solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, software developers, and project managers to define integration strategies, project timelines, and deliverables.
  • Configure and customize Blue Planet's Optical SDN Controller to align with client network architecture and operational workflows.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment processes and enhance system performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated solutions to ensure functionality, scalability, and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients during implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to software-defined networking (SDN) and optical networking.



Qualifications:


  • Proven experience (10+ years) in designing, implementing, and integrating SDN solutions, with a focus on optical networking.
  • In-depth knowledge of Blue Planet's Optical SDN Controller, including its architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with experience developing automation scripts and tools.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, standards, and technologies, including DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, and MPLS.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Blue Planet Certified Expert) would be a plus.
