Hiring Audit Associate for Affinity Global Services Private Limited


Job Description:


Conducting Financial Audits:

  • Perform thorough examinations of financial records, accounting systems, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance financial processes and procedures.
  • Verify financial transactions, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness.

Compliance Audits:

  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Review internal policies and procedures to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.

Risk Assessment:

  • Evaluate risks associated with financial activities and recommend measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyze internal controls to identify weaknesses and develop strategies to enhance risk management practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to assess their impact on the company's operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of audit procedures, workpapers, and findings.
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior auditors, interns, or trainees as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to continuous learning and professional development.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the audit function.
  • Actively participate in internal audit meetings and contribute ideas for improving audit processes and procedures.

Ethical Standards:

  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set forth by regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information and audit findings.

Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Address inquiries and provide clarification on audit findings and recommendations as needed.

Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Develop audit plans and schedules based on risk assessment and organizational priorities.
  • Execute audit procedures in accordance with established methodologies and standards.
  • Monitor progress and adjust audit plans as necessary to ensure timely completion of audits.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and update audit procedures accordingly.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits as needed.


  • Location: Kolkata , India
  • Annual CTC: 4 Lakhs /PA


Eligibility:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) or CA (Inter) or ICWA.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit.
