Job Responsibilities: 


  • Own the database design for various business and technical requirements. 
  • Deploy and manage required database assets in production environments. 
  • Manage high-scale MySQL and MongoDB clusters. 
  • Perform DB architectural design, optimization, performance tuning, and provide consultation. 
  • Implement observability tools for databases. 
  • Automated database operations. 
  • Engage in design discussions and consultations with the development and QA teams. 
  • Thoroughly understand MySQL logs, configurations, backups, and disaster recovery. 
  • Deeply involve in addressing any database-related issues (outages, troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.). 


Job Requirements: 


  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent from a reputed institute. 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Proficiency in MySQL, including self-hosted and managed solutions. 
  • Experience with Shell/Python/SQL scripting. 
  • Familiarity with AWS native services and automation. 
  • Working knowledge of Linux and system hardware. 
  • Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or other distributed databases is a plus. 
  • Experience with database observability tools (Percona, Datadog, etc.).
