We are looking for passionate engineers to carry forward legacy and help us grow the platform both vertically and horizontally. We are building React Native based mobile front-end to our platform, and that requires a seasoned cross platform mobile engineer who can build applications keeping the various device and platform constraints in mind. You should know one of the cross platform mobile development frameworks and have willingness to learn new technologies as required. HTTP and interactions with the servers and APIs are a given.,


You should know what it means to build a really smooth UI which will work on iOS and Android, and on various form factors. You should be able to think of the front-end as a platform and build out the individual components of the UI as fully functional independent reusable modules. You should know what it means to build an SDK with clear interface boundaries which will then get used by a wide variety of people.


Responsibilities

Your responsibility does not end at developing. Every engineer at Presto is responsible for every line of code from him/her for its entire lifetime. Performance monitoring of live applications will be an integral part of your work. Consequently, knowledge of dealing with varied client environments, monitoring, alerting are all the things that will be your daily mantra.

As a senior engineering in a growing organization, you will be expected to guide, mentor and grow the junior engineers while allowing yourself to grow personally also. At times you might be asked to drive an engineering sprint or champion a feature or carry out a release. You will be pretty hands on and you will definitely learn a lot - as much as you want. You will have opportunities for direct interaction with people across functions and with a flat hierarchy, everyone is just one degree away.


Qualifications

5 to 8 years’ experience in frontend development with the above-mentioned responsibilities

Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies

Experience building object-oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React JS
