Job description

CDSpace Robotics is currently seeking talented Embedded Hardware Engineers to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the hardware components of our UAV autopilot and its subsystems. You will collaborate with software engineers and firmware developers to create innovative embedded systems that meet project requirements and bring our hardware to life.

About the Role

  • Design, develop, and test embedded hardware systems for UAV subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components.
  • Select, evaluate, and integrate micro-controllers, sensors, and other hardware components.
  • Develop and review schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard design tools.
  • Ensure hardware designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize designs for performance, power consumption, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and testing.
  • Participate in testing and validation of hardware systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in embedded hardware engineering.


Qualifications

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates a robust comprehension of digital and analog circuits, micro-controllers, and embedded systems.
  • Proficient in PCB design and layout utilizing CAD software, with a preference for KiCad.
  • Well-versed in communication protocols such as MIPI, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI.
  • Possesses knowledge of various sensors (e.g., accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and GPS) and their practical applications.
  • Capable of deciphering and interpreting technical schematics and datasheets.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and troubleshooting aptitudes.
  • Displays excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Shows attention to detail and adeptness in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
