Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect with a strong background in Java and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and migrating monolithic applications to microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices architectures using Java and modern frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Provide architectural leadership and technical expertise in designing complex, high-availability distributed systems.
  • Lead the migration of monolithic applications to microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Drive best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define system architecture and design.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and performance best practices are incorporated into system design.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams in architectural patterns, development methodologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 15 years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on Java-based microservices.
  • Expertise in designing and developing microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java-based frameworks.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in at least one monolithic-to-microservices migration project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of API gateway solutions and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Oracle Certified Master, Java EE Enterprise Architect (OCMJEA)
  • Health Care domain knowledge is preferred.
