Job Description

We are seeking a Senior/Architect ServiceNow Developer to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of ServiceNow development projects, leading the technical implementation of solutions. You will customize ServiceNow applications to meet specific client requirements, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the independent, technically demanding development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring high-quality implementations.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications to meet specific client requirements and ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Develop components for system integration, including SSO, LDAP, REST API, and SOAP, to enable seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with business consultants to analyze client needs and design tailored solutions for various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, IRM, SecOps, and custom/industry products.
  • Optimize ServiceNow functionality by configuring Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Client/Server Scripts.
  • Customize Service Portals to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
  • Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and NOW-Performance Analytics widgets to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for all developed solutions and configurations.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s Competence Center by sharing expertise and fostering team growth.
  • Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to ServiceNow developers to ensure continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on technical implementations and integrations.
  • Proficiency in solution and interface concepts and industry standards such as Ajax, CSS, REST API, Angular, Web Services, SOAP, and XML.
  • Advanced programming/scripting skills, particularly in JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two ServiceNow applications, such as:
  • Customer Service Management
  • Field Service Management
  • Security Operations
  • Integrated Risk Management / Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Financial Services Operations
  • IT Service Management
  • Custom Applications
  • ServiceNow Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (NOW-CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (NOW-CAD)
  • Strong communication skills with excellent English proficiency (German skills are a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
