Design of static equipment in compliance with international standards including ASME SecVIII Div. 1 & 2, PD 5500, API 650, TEMA, NACE, ASCE and specific project specifications.2. Drive pre-bid engineering activities: review tender documents, prepare technical proposals,define equipment scope, and identify deviations to optimize project feasibility andcompetitiveness.3. Prepare Material Requisitions, Enquiry Specifications, and conduct Technical Bid Evaluationsfor static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, and shell & tube heat exchangers.4. Review and approval of Mechanical Design & Detail drawing and ensure submission to client.5. Review and approve vendor deliverables: technical queries, fabrication drawings.6. Validate and audit design calculations, incorporating comments from ASME AuthorizedInspectors (AI).7. Lead detailed drawing checks including internal component layouts and sub-order sketches.8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Production, QA/QC, Projects, Procurement, andinterface with EPC contractors and end users for smooth execution.9. Mentor and manage a team of Design and CAD Engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverablesaligned with project timelines.10. Define and monitor KPIs, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and implement risk& opportunity management in alignment with ISO 9001:2015.11. Spearhead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies acrossdesign workflows.12. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) & 5S practices within the engineering department todrive workplace efficiency and safety.13.
