Salesforce Senior Technical Consultant

The Role
You will be responsible for the hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, Lightning Visual Force and application integration patterns. You will serve as the technical expert on Salesforce.com - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their top business goals and priorities
- Help customers achieve their strategic business objectives and desired outcomes by providing timely, proactive recommendations
- Lead technical project resources to design and develop custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, Visual Force, Lightning web components, application integration and data migration
- Design and implement business technology solutions focused on cloud-based business applications, specifically, Salesforce
- Contribute to business requirements, specifications, functional process flows, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment
- Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, technical design specifications, technical process flows, application diagrams, application configuration and testing.
- Judges the trade-offs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that drive the best outcome for the client while also fitting the constraints of the project.
- Technical point of contact with our clients in delivering the solutions and act as the primary escalation point for technical enquiries related to existing and new Salesforce enhancements.
- Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control.
- Work on new development initiatives, bug fixes and enhancements of the existing Salesforce solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.
- 5+ years of experience with hands-on declarative and programmatic design and Salesforce solution development/administration.
- Ability to demonstrate practical experience with limitations of the declarative features of the platform and justify when and why technical customizations are appropriate
- Two or more current Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, App Builder, Platform Developer I, Sales/Service Cloud)
- Two or more current Salesforce advanced certifications (Platform Developer II, Architect certification(s), Sales/Service Cloud).
- Strong experience in designing, developing and implementing Salesforce applications including VisualForce and Apex, Lightning, flows, Experience Cloud (Partner/Customer), and Lightning Communities.
- Previous experience setting up and managing Salesforce code management and CI/CD processes with experience of relevant tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to lead design/architectural review discussions with client via presentation or verbally to articulate developed Salesforce features and justify design decisions
- Should be able to work on agile and traditional waterfall project teams and manage functionality mapping, configuration, testing, building custom apps to and from Salesforce.
