Job Summary:


We are ValueLabs, a leading global technology solutions provider, and we are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, experience with test automation tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Creating automated test frameworks, designing and implementing test cases, and writing code to enhance overall software testability.
  • Designing reusable and maintainable code to automate test scenarios.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, jMeter , SOAP UI, Postman) to automate Performance tests, API, Web and Mobile UI
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Type Script).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Proven experience in testing APIs / Webservices
  • Working Knowledge of SQL
  • Producing Clear and concise reporting of test results produced as part of automated test runs.
  • Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of Test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure dev ops)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and defect tracking.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
  • Experience problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
