The Role

The Product Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of the JoVE Research product line. They will be responsible for enhancing platform capabilities and aligning the product roadmap with key business objectives to support growth and market expansion.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and challenges, translating insights into actionable product enhancements that increase user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Conduct thorough market research on the biopharma sector and adjacent industries to identify key growth opportunities and guide product development strategies.
  • Conceptualize and launch new product features that directly address market gaps and improve competitive positioning, driving both user acquisition and retention.
  • Lead product discovery sprints, build MVPs and plan tests to validate new product features, ensuring their alignment with business goals.
  • Advocate for consistency in the user experience in order to foster sustained engagement & retain customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery, meeting KPIs for user impact.


Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of experience working in digital product management. Experience in biopharma or life sciences is preferred.
  • Proven record of executing on product launches & complex technical initiatives
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically about business outcomes, while also being able to act tactically and dive into the details
  • Experience in market research, new product development, consulting or early stage startup experience is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well with cross functional teams
  • Self motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment
