Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at RevX, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to support our business objectives. You will work closely with various teams including data science, engineering, product and campaign management to provide actionable insights, optimize campaigns, and evaluate model performance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Analyze large and complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
● Perform statistical tests on tabular data, including numerical and categorical variables.
● Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the performance of different strategies.
● Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, Grafana, and Looker.
● Utilize advanced SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
● Implement machine learning models using XGBoost, random forests, decision trees, and neural networks.
● Analyze the performance of live models and provide recommendations for improvement.
● Provide analytical solutions for user segmentation and campaign optimization.
● Conduct clustering and segmentation analyses to identify patterns and groupings in data.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
● 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
● Strong understanding of statistical tests and methodologies.
● Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
● Advanced SQL skills for complex data querying and manipulation.
● Experience with big data technologies and handling large volumes of data (BigQuery experience is a plus).
● Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, Grafana, and Looker.
● Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, particularly XGBoost, random forests, decision trees, and neural networks.
● Experience with clustering techniques and segmentation analysis.
● Ability to analyze the model’s online performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
● Experience with A/B testing and other experimental design methodologies.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
● Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
● Understanding of business intelligence tools and reporting.
● Experience with TensorFlow.
