We seek a talented and knowledgeable network engineer to manage our company's network and its systems. The primary duties are maintaining computer infrastructure, network hardware and other related IT systems, troubleshooting potential network issues, protecting data from online attacks and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. The ideal candidate is to join the systems engineering team, designing and developing scalable, maintainable and highly available network architecture that meets business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Desktop Support:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.

Maintain software licenses and ensure software compliance.

Deploy operating system updates and security patches.

  • Network Administration:

Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).

Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Implement and maintain network security measures.

Perform network upgrades and migrations.

  • General IT Support:

Document network and desktop configurations for future reference.

Assist with IT project planning and implementation.

Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Desktop engineering, Network solutioning certification, AWS


COMPETENCIES

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a desktop support and/or network administration role.

Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (desktop and server).

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A+ and Network+ certifications (preferred).
