Job Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development (Java):
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, primarily with Spring Boot.
  • Implement business logic, integrations, and data storage solutions, ensuring system performance and scalability.
  • Integrate backend with various data sources (SQL/NoSQL databases, third-party services).
  • Optimize backend performance and ensure high availability and security for applications.
  • Collaborate with other backend developers to design and implement microservices-based architectures.
  • Frontend Development (React):
  • Develop interactive and responsive web interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Build reusable components and manage application state using Redux or Context API.
  • Integrate frontend with backend services (Java-based REST APIs) and ensure seamless data flow between client-side and server-side.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure smooth user experience (UX) and pixel-perfect designs.
  • Optimize the frontend codebase for maximum performance and responsiveness across a variety of devices and browsers.
  • Full-stack Development:
  • Collaborate with the team to create and implement full-stack solutions, handling both the front-end and back-end aspects of the application.
  • Work with agile teams to contribute to product features, from conception to deployment.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both frontend and backend applications for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Agile Environment:
  • Participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to building a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation:
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java, React, and full-stack development.
  • Propose improvements in system architecture, technologies, and development practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Backend: Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs).
  • Frontend: Extensive experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Solid experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and JSON for frontend-backend integration.
  • Familiarity with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with TypeScript for React applications.
  • Familiarity with Microservices architecture and building distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and deployment tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Mocha).
  • Experience in building and deploying production-level applications.
  • Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
