Two-wheelers are still catching up, and our vision is to accelerate this transition by delivering car-like intelligence to every rider.Join us in building the future of intelligent mobility.Role OverviewAs the Lead Mobile Application Developer, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications that interface with a wide ecosystem of connected devices and smart peripherals. You will lead a team of mobile engineers (iOS/Android), collaborate closely with hardware, backend, and design teams, and ensure a seamless, secure, and high-quality user experience across platforms.This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who can lead by example, architecting solutions, reviewing code, guiding the team, and owning end-to-end mobile application performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & ArchitectureLead the mobile engineering team (iOS/Android) in designing and building scalable, maintainable, and robust mobile applications.Define mobile architecture, coding standards, best practices, and overall technical direction.Review code, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.Mobile App DevelopmentBuild and maintain high-performance iOS/Android applications that interface with smart peripheral devices using communication technologies such as Bluetooth, MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP.Implement features for real-time data streaming, visualization, and user interaction with connected hardware devices.Ensure secure communication and data handling through encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless device–app interoperability.Collaborate with backend teams on API design and integration.Partner with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, rider-first mobile experiences.Quality, Performance & ReliabilityPerform extensive testing and debugging across a wide range of devices, OS versions, and network conditions.Optimize app performance, battery usage, memory footprint, and reliability.Maintain high-quality documentation for architecture, APIs, code modules, and integration workflows.Innovation & Continuous ImprovementStay updated with advancements in mobile engineering, connectivity technologies, and platform-specific best practices.Proactively recommend improvements to the user experience, tech stack, and development processes.QualificationsMust-Have4+ years of experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android, or both).Strong proficiency in:iOS: Swift, Objective-C, iOS frameworksAndroid: Kotlin, Java, Jetpack librariesSolid knowledge of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, MVP), dependency injection frameworks, and asynchronous programming.Hands-on experience with RESTful API integrationData persistence techniquesExperience with Real-time communication protocols (MQTT/CoAP/HTTP/WebSockets preferred)Hardware–software interfacing (Bluetooth/BLE, sensors, or IoT devices)Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.Good to HaveExperience working in IoT, automotive, wearables, or connected peripheral ecosystems.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.Experience mentoring or leading engineers.What You’ll GetOpportunity to lead and shape the mobile tech foundation.Work on cutting-edge connected mobility solutions with real-world rider impact.Collaborative, innovation-driven environment.Ability to influence product strategy and user experience at scale.
