Purpose of the role

Regional Operations Head is a critical role tasked with managing operations in the assigned geography. The role is responsible for the revenue and bottom-line for the region. Our ideal candidate would have had extensive experience in operations and people management. Strong leadership skills coupled with extensive experience in managing operations for a customer obsessed store organization is must.

Principal Responsibilities

The principal responsibilities of this role will entail the following:

1. Plan and drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability for the Region by collaborating with buying, supply chain and other support functions

2. Monitor the Store Overheads and identify opportunities for cost reduction/optimization

3. Drive online operations with great customer obsession

4. Review financial information regularly and take corrective actions to assure and enhance profitability

5. Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics for key KPIs to stay on course with agreed objectives

6. Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress on key deliverables

7. Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives.

8. Drive a customer obsessed culture at all levels by ensuring SLA adherence. Proactively promote collaboration within the cross functional teams to solve customer problems

9. Direct a large workforce in the Region by ensuring regular team and functional reviews, feedback and action planning

10.Ensure that the stores run with legality and conformity to established statutory regulations and Standard operating procedures

11.Manage people performance by applying policies and procedures; ensuring regular feedback and corrective actions

12.Build a highly competent team by identifying capability gaps and taking timely actions for improvement or replacement

Knowledge / Education

• Post-graduation or equivalent qualification.

• Must have experience in retail operations ( Online and Offline ) P&L responsibility with progressive growth in revenue and bottom-line

• Should have managed sizeable revenue responsibility.

• Managed a fairly large team
