Junior Architect

DCG REALTY is an upcoming real-estate company endeavoring into multiple mid/large scale residential and commercial project in the state of Odisha , INDIA . We are currently looking to formulate our own design team under the umbrella firm ( NAVAKALA STUDIO) to undertake the complete design scope for our projects from scratch to finish.We are eagerly looking to hire a senior architect/design head for our in-house design team .Job responsibilities -Undertake design project from concept to completionInterpret and translate management requirements into drawingsCoordinates design group interaction both internally and externally, including leading consultant team work sessionsCoordinates with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants and contractors to incorporate engineering systems, to respond to requests for information, clarifications and modifications and to obtain approvals and adjust scope of servicesHave extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional practice from schematic design through project close-out.Be able to work and present ideas in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative environment.Possess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of drawings..Work directly with Project Managers and Designers in the development of project documents, schedule and workplan.Job requirement -B.Arch. degree or higher from an accredited universityMinimum 2 years of experience in any architectural based firmProven working experience in sanction drawings and working drawingsExposure of working in high rise residential and commercial projectsSound design knowledge.Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks and 3D modeling software preferredExperience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign software preferredProficiency in MS Office Suite preferredUndertake design project from concept to completionResearch and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practicesArchitectural Registration requiredStrong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeYou have extensive Residential and commercial Project Experience – including a variety of low-rise /high rise , master planning etc.You are a resourceful and creative problem solver.You’re a good teammate – you want those around you to succeed and you’re capable of taking direction or leading a project to deliver a great product to our clients.You’re good with people – a strong listener, respectful in your interactions with others and have a positive outlook on life.You’re a good communicator –verbally, graphically and in written form, people understand your ideas and the way you share them.You are organized and thorough – you understand how to work with and coordinate consulting partners and many moving parts to deliver a solid, final product.You have a strong understanding of design, space planning, spatial relationships and materials.You have a passion for sustainability.You have professional drive and still have fun while you work.You have a passion to see the firm along your way and everybody involved in itYou’ll be working in our design studio with other professionals dedicated to DCG projects.You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.Your work will include a variety of tasks and design projects.You’ll lead teams of architects and engineers to meet project requirements, budgets and schedules.You’ll be responsible for developing design solutions and producing contract documents.You’ll be accountable for project success.You’ll have growth opportunities.
