Job Summary:


The Pedagogy Specialist plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating effective teaching and learning strategies.. The role requires expertise in pedagogical theories, instructional design, curriculum development, and educational technology.The role expects someone to be an expert at preschool curriculum development and has good marketing skills


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative pedagogical approaches and instructional strategies aligned with educational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with different teams to design, review, and enhance curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest developments in pedagogy, educational technologies, and teaching methodologies.
  • Provide professional development and training sessions for teachers on effective instructional practices, student-centred learning, and assessment techniques.
  • Collaborate with educational technology specialists to integrate appropriate technology tools and resources into teaching practices.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials, teaching strategies, and curriculum implementation.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as administrators, parents, and community members, to promote a holistic and inclusive educational environment.
  • Stay informed about educational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (E.C.C.ED).
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of pedagogical theories, instructional design principles, and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional planning, and assessment strategies.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to enhance instruction.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret student data and inform instructional decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing educational trends, technologies, and student needs.
  • Prior teaching experience is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in pedagogy, instructional design, or educational technology (e.g., Certified Pedagogy Specialist) may be preferred.
