Our mission is to combine robust data engineering pipelines with Generative AI and advanced ML models to democratize access to sophisticated trading strategies.As a part of our founding technical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the customer-facing touchpoint is reliable, scalable, and production-ready.We are seeking a Founding React Native Developer to build our React Native mobile application from the ground up. This role is hands-on: you will design, implement, and optimize a cross-platform app (iOS + Android) that integrates tightly with our backend services via REST APIs and WebSockets.This is not just a coding role, it’s a DIY builder role where you’ll make key architectural decisions, implement UX best practices, and ensure performance and trustworthiness for a fintech-grade product. You will work closely with the Engineering Director, Product Manager, and Backend Developer.What You’ll DoMobile App Development:Build and maintain a React Native application with a native-like experience across iOS and Android.Implement real-time data integrations using REST APIs and WebSockets for live trading signals and portfolio updates.Ensure the app is performant, responsive, and secure, even under heavy data and user loads.User Experience & Trust:Translate complex trading data into intuitive visualizations, dashboards, and interactive charts.Follow UX principles for fintech apps: smooth navigation, offline capabilities, and WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance.Integrate mobile-native features (push notifications, biometrics, haptics) for user engagement and trust.Collaboration & Startup DNA:Partner with backend, AI, and design teams to align on APIs, data contracts, and product flow.Embrace a founder mindset: operate with autonomy, solve problems with limited resources, and take ownership of both big design decisions and minor fixes.Contribute to long-term product strategy, not just code.What We’re Looking For10–15 years of frontend/mobile development experience, with 5+ years in React Native (TypeScript preferred).Strong understanding of mobile app performance optimization, state management (Redux/Zustand/Recoil), and component architecture.Know how to use Code Gen AI like Cursor and GHCP to enhance developer productivity by 2X.Hands-on experience integrating apps with REST APIs, WebSockets, and handling real-time data flows.Ability to design intuitive UX for data-heavy apps (experience with charting/visualization libraries a plus).Knowledge of app store deployment processes (iOS App Store, Google Play).Bonus: familiarity with fintech or trading apps, authentication (OAuth, 2FA).A DIY builder mindset: resourceful, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in ambiguity.Willingness to work in an equity-only, pre-funding startup environment.Why Join UsBuild a Robinhood-class trading app, but powered by cutting-edge AI and designed with trust and transparency.Be a founding team member shaping the future of fintech for retail investors.Full equity-based compensation, high risk, high reward, with massive ownership potential.Work in a remote-first, India-preferred setup, with autonomy and trust
