Job Title: Automation Quality Engineer

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or related field (B.Tech).

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in automation quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Quality Standards & Compliance:

  • Ensure automation systems and products meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for automated systems and equipment.

Review & Approvals:

  • Analyze and approve quality requirements in manufacturing processes, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications for automation systems.

Testing & Inspection:

  • Test automated equipment and systems to identify deficiencies or potential issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to maintain compliance.

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize automated manufacturing processes and ensure safety standards for equipment and employees.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Corrective Action & Reporting:

  • Investigate quality issues related to automation systems and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain metrics reporting systems to track and improve automation quality performance.

Documentation & Training:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for quality processes, audit findings, and corrective actions.
  • Provide training to employees on quality standards and the use of automated systems.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Analyze product performance and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction by enhancing product quality.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of automation systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment and testing protocols.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, or other industrial automation tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance for automation systems.
