The role involves execution for mechanical (fabricated) items, Civil work and Installation, coordination of bought out components. It is a one of a kind project that needs the right candidate to have


a. Excellent Communication skills

b. Ability to lead a team of 8-10 engineers

c. Multi-task but be thorough in execution

d. Quality conscious


Responsibilities

  • Proper study of drawings and removal of bill of material of fabricated components
  • Proper material planning (plates, rods and pipes in MS) using nesting diagrams, for traceability and minimising wastage
  • Proper sequencing of fabricated raw material so as to ensure the finished good is available when we need it
  • Excellent communication skills to indent material to purchase department
  • Resolve purchase related queries for size and MOC, and MOQ issues
  • Tracking project timelines on a daily basis and course correcting issues
  • Coordinating with Production team, so as to ensure smooth production
  • Following up with Quality department to ensure timely internal inspection, as well as proper inspection reports
  • Coordinating inspection calls with DGAQA/Client for stage inspections at our factory or at site
  • Coordinating with Project Site Engineers to ensure timely availability of material , manpower and permissions
  • Identifying right machining sub contractors, negotiating scope of work and rates, and planning sequence of machining operations. (Here knowledge of machining - plano milling, drilling, boring, etc is must)
  • Guiding stores teams on minimum inventory requirements



Qualifications

a. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

b. 5-7 years of Project Engineering experience (involving fabrication, civil work and installation of systems)

c. Knowledge on procurement is added bonus


Perks

Ideal candidates should be loving close to Badlapur MIDC, and should be able to join in next 10-15 days
