Summary

We seek a highly skilled IT and Network Engineer at Tech Alchemy. This role requires expertise pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of our technological infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Monitor and maintain all in-house systems, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard the company's data and network resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Conduct regular network performance assessments and optimizations.
  • Manage and oversee internet connectivity, ensuring reliable and fast access for all users.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience on monitoring tools like PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios .
  • Hands-on experience in Desktop and Laptop troubleshooting.
  • Hands on experience in Windows , Linux and MAC os.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network engineering and security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain virtual private networks (VPNs) to secure remote access to the organization's network resources.
  • Administer firewall infrastructure, including rule configuration, monitoring, and threat management, to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of VPN and firewall configurations to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security best practices.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement monitoring tools and techniques to track compliance with IT policies and identify areas for improvement or remediation


Must Haves

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of hands on experience in IT and Network Engineer role.
