As a Consultant, you will support Senior Consultants, Project Managers, and teams of talented, professional business and technology consultants in the delivery of business-focused solutions for our clients using Oracle applications, tools, and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop skills and competence on our products in terms of functionality, design, and architectureDevelop extensions or customization around our products in context of customer asks, including UI/UX, business functionality, interfaces, and integration, or reports and visualizationsAssist in the testing and deployment of the product and the customization and developmentsPrepare documentation, including program specifications, unit test plans, test cases, technical documentation, release notes, and status reportsEngage with customers at all levels to deliver high-quality projects, services, and adviceWork Location: Bangalore OR Chennai OnlyHybrid Set-Up Reporting 3x a week at our officeQualifications & SkillsBE/BTECH/MCA backgroundMinimum of 5 years worth of related experience in a similar capacityGood knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP, and REST-based web servicesKnowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, and Unix Shell scriptingExposure to application servers, middleware concepts, and security conceptsSound knowledge of SDLC, including waterfall and agile modelsStrong analytical and communication skillsDesired:Experience in working in the BFSI domain, specifically in bankingStrong Oracle tech skills, including PL/SQL, SQL, and JavaExperience in end-to-end implementation of solutions from inception to go-liveStrong problem-solving skills and experience in supporting critical phases of projectsSelf-Assessment QuestionsTo evaluate your fit for this role, please consider the following questions:Can you describe your experience with Oracle products and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and web services?How do you approach developing extensions or customization for Oracle products, and can you provide an example of a successful project you led?How do you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle technology and the banking industry?Can you describe a situation where you had to engage with a customer at all levels to deliver a high-quality project, and how you ensured a successful outcome?How do you prioritize your work and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and can you provide an example of a time when you had to manage a critical phase of a project?If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to join a dynamic team in the banking domain, please apply with your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
