Job Description for Business Analyst
Compensation: 4-5 LPA
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Business Analyst to join our fast-growing startup focused on delivering end to end Digital Twin solutions. In this role, you will primarily conduct desktop research to identify and analyze market opportunities, research on potential clients, and generate leads to support our business development initiatives. Your work will be critical in building a strong foundation for our outreach efforts and driving the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
Desktop Research and Market Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive desktop research to identify companies operating in the oil and gas sector that align with our target market.
- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
Lead Generation
- Research and compile a list of potential clients, including contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, and key decision-makers.
- Maintain and update a lead database with accurate and organized information.
Competitive Landscape Analysis
- Identify competitors offering similar solutions and analyze their offerings, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Provide insights on how our solutions can differentiate in the marketplace.
Data Organization and Reporting
- Organize and present research findings in a clear and actionable format.
- Create reports summarizing key insights, potential leads, and recommendations for outreach strategies.
Collaboration with Sales Team
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align research efforts with business development goals.
- Share lead information and insights to support targeted outreach campaigns.
Contact Information Verification
- Verify the accuracy of contact details and ensure the leads generated are relevant to the company's objectives.
- Use various tools and platforms to identify phone numbers, emails, and LinkedIn profiles of key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Efficient Research Skills
- Proven ability to conduct detailed and effective desktop research using various online tools, databases, and resources.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize information and identify relevant leads.
High Attention to Detail
- Meticulous in gathering and organizing information, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Proficient in maintaining databases and ensuring up-to-date records.
Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong written communication skills to create clear and concise reports and summaries.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and provide actionable insights.
Technical Proficiency in Data Organisation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for organizing and presenting research.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms is an advantage.
Good Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, market research, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Bring a Self-Starter
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset to seek out opportunities and take initiative.
