Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer Intern to join our remote team. This is a full-time role designed for someone with a keen interest in design and self-help content. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will primarily work on creating engaging book covers and illustrations for the Wizdom app, utilizing your skills in Adobe, Figma, and color theory. If you have a love for reading self-help books and are excited to bring creativity to life through digital art, this is the perfect opportunity for you
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Book Covers: Create visually appealing and interesting book covers for the Wizdom app, focusing on themes from self-help books.
- Illustration: Develop custom illustrations for digital use, ensuring they align with the app’s aesthetic and content.
- Primary Research: Conduct research on design trends and book cover art to stay updated on what's engaging and appealing to target audiences.
- Color Theory: Apply strong knowledge of color theory to create visually harmonious designs that enhance user engagement.
- Adobe Suite: Use tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for design tasks.
- Figma: Utilize Figma for collaborative design work and wireframing.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the content to ensure designs are aligned with overall branding and messaging.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in design.
- Passion for self-help books and personal growth content.
- Ability to conduct primary research on design trends and apply insights to projects.
- Experience in creating illustrations for digital use.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
