Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Front End Developer with strong proficiency in React.js to join our dynamic team. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality code for complex web applications with a focus on usability and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop New Features: Create user-facing features using React.js, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimise Performance: Enhance application speed and scalability to provide a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with Designers: Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive web pages.
  • Backend Integration: Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
  • Maintain UI: Implement and maintain complex user interfaces with a keen eye on detail and usability.
  • Code Quality: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and distribute knowledge across the team.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our frontend capabilities.


Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front End Developer with expertise in React.js.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • React.js Workflows: Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux, Flux, or Context API) and state management libraries.
  • Frontend Build Tools: Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools, such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
  • Responsive Design: Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Version Control: Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Nice to Have:

  • TypeScript: Experience with TypeScript or other statically typed languages.
  • GraphQL: Familiarity with GraphQL and its concepts.
  • Backend Knowledge: Knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Python etc.) is a plus.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress, Playwright).
