Join our growing SAP practice and be a part of high-impact global transformation programs.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Lead Consultant to architect, implement, and optimize Controlling processes across S/4HANA environments. This role requires strong functional leadership, deep CO expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global business stakeholders. The consultant will lead workshops, define solution design, manage configuration, ensure cross-module integration, and support full lifecycle project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & DeliveryLead end-to-end design of SAP S/4HANA CO processes including:Cost Center Accounting (CCA)Profit Center Accounting (PCA)Internal OrdersProduct CostingProfitability Analysis (CO-PA) / Margin AnalysisTranslate business requirements into scalable system solutions and detailed functional specifications.Drive Fit-to-Standard and Fit/Gap workshops for the CO scope.Define and maintain the global CO template ensuring consistency across regions and business units.Configuration & IntegrationConfigure SAP S/4HANA CO components such as:Universal Journal–based CO integrationCost elements, allocations, assessments, settlementsReporting structures and value flowsLead configuration for:Product Costing (Standard/Actual Costing)Material LedgerCost Object ControllingEnsure robust integration with FI, MM, PP, SD, PM, and other S/4HANA modules.Project LeadershipAct as the primary CO Workstream Lead for S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.Provide functional specifications for RICEFW objects and support development, testing, and validation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define end-to-end financial and operational flows.Guide global stakeholders, conduct training, and support change management activities.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CO.Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations as a CO Lead.Strong expertise in:Cost Center & Profit Center AccountingProduct Costing (Material Ledger, Actual Costing)Internal Orders & Project ControllingCO-PA / Margin AnalysisDeep understanding of:Universal Journal (ACDOCA)SAP Fiori appsS/4HANA simplification itemsProven experience leading workshops and managing global, cross-cultural stakeholders.Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred QualificationsSAP S/4HANA Finance or CO certification.Experience with SAP Activate methodology.Background in global template design and multi-country rollouts.If interested, please share your resume to saicharan.aluur@neweratech.com
