Job Overview:

The PeopleSoft Infrastructure Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the PeopleSoft infrastructure and environment. The role requires a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and the ability to deliver solutions within a DevOps, Agile delivery framework. The specialist will provide support coverage for both Sydney and Manila, with flexibility to handle critical incidents overnight.


Key Responsibilities:

  • PeopleSoft Infrastructure Support: Maintain and support the PeopleSoft infrastructure and environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Maintenance Patching: Evaluate and apply PeopleSoft maintenance patches using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
  • DevOps & Agile Delivery: Deliver solutions as part of a DevOps, Agile delivery team, adhering to standard change, development, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Global Support Coverage: Provide support coverage for both Sydney and Manila, with flexibility to handle overnight support for critical incidents as needed.


Technical Skills & Expertise:


  • Core PeopleSoft Skills:
  • Strong experience in supporting PeopleSoft infrastructure and environment.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and applying PeopleSoft maintenance patches using PUM.
  • Ability to work within a DevOps, Agile delivery team.


  • Advanced Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with AWS and integrating SaaS/Cloud platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience in Fluid AI Development and PUM application.
  • Knowledge of multiple message or file formats including XML, JSON, CSV.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in IT with at least 5 years of recent experience in supporting PeopleSoft environments.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a global support team.
