Role Description

At Orington & Partners, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex investment banking mandates, including capital raising, cross-border M&A, financial restructuring, and strategic advisory. You will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, driving business development, leading capital-raising transactions, and mentoring team members. This role requires a deep understanding of cross-geographical nuances, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end execution of investment banking domestic and inetrnational transactions, including pitch preparation, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and investors, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to the firm's growth strategy.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, financial analysis, and valuation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present high-quality pitch decks, investment memos, and other client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to deliver seamless client solutions.

  • Have a proven track record in investment banking, with expertise in capital raising, M&A, and strategic advisory.
  • Be a self-directed, results-oriented professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a passion for collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Demonstrate superior analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Be highly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Have a deep understanding of international markets, particularly India, Australia, and Singapore.
  • Be culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm, innovation, and new ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment banking or related fields.
  • Hands-on expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and preparing pitch decks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, MBA, or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional collaborations.

Location:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, India. Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Gurugram will be preferred.
