We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Experience Design Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative user interfaces and experiences across our digital platforms. The Experience Design Lead will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall usability, accessibility, and visual appeal of our products.


Responsibilities:


User Research and Analysis:


  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Create personas, user journey maps, empathy maps etc.
  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform design decisions.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping:
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to illustrate design concepts.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
  • UI/UX Design:
  • Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence in design across various platforms.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to bring designs from concept to implementation.
  • Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.


Usability Testing:


  • Plan and conduct usability testing to gather insights on the user experience.
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Accessibility:
  • Advocate for and implement accessibility best practices to ensure products are usable by a diverse audience.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends:
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
  • Portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in user interface and experience design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, miro or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile design.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
