To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professionals in the position of Head Process Potline, Vedanta Jharsuguda.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -


  • Control and monitor key operating parameters like Set voltage, AlF3 Setting, NB Control and metal production targets
  • Certify all incoming raw material and maintaining hot metal quality as per customer requirement
  • Compliance on metal sampling, temperature & voltage drop measurement
  • Conceive, design, develop, implement and maintain the online data acquisition reporting and archiving system (RPMS-Reduction Plant Monitoring System) for Pot Control and associated facilities data ensuring, data accuracy and timely issue of reports
  • Control on process parameters of FTP and on lining method
  • Data analysis, suing tools like Oracle Browsing, SPC various other analytical techniques for a continuous review of the operation to address process deviations and provide a direction for further improvements and enhancements
  • Potline amperage increase and process improvements that increase Metal Production


CRITERIA:


  • 60% and above throughout the education
  • B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Metallurgy/ Production with 18+ years of work experience in Aluminium Industry
  • Knowledge on best safety practices
  • Statistical and analytical skills and capacity to interpret the results
  • Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems & Legal requirement is desirable
