Rapido Cabs made its debut on May 2023, marking the commencement of its services in eight cities. Notably, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi stand out as the primary cities for this initial launch. However, the ambitious plan includes an extensive expansion to encompass over 50 cities in the coming 12 months.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic Finance team. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and other finance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen interest in finance, and a desire to learn and grow in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports. Support the team in evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Reporting: Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Assist in the preparation of management presentations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant data, performing analyses, and preparing related documentation.
  • Accounting Support: Assist with general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct financial research and analysis to support business decisions. Prepare summaries and reports based on findings.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed. Provide support to other members of the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
