Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth software delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize the infrastructure for high availability and resilience.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Collaborate with development teams to build and support microservices architecture.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to detect and address issues proactively.
  • Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of cloud resources.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain service uptime and reliability.
  • Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and team alignment.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, DevOps, and SRE practices.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub).
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Solid understanding of SRE principles and best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
