Pepper Content is building a global marketplace connecting companies with top content creators to streamline content production across 75+ verticals and 150+ categories. In the last five years, over 100,000 freelancers have applied to join our network, but we only work with the top 5% of talent. Our client base includes over 2,500 companies such as Amazon, Airtel, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, Infosys, and many large enterprises.


At Pepper Content, we're dedicated to enhancing our team with the most talented individuals. We are looking to hire a Head of Video Production, who will be Managing All Things Video. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, and be a team leader who has managed large-scale (budget and asset-wise) projects and worked with a team of producers.


Should be proficient with Excel, logistics of production, team management, and creator procurements. A go-getter with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a production house or fast-paced creative agency.


This role demands strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with brands and internal teams across different departments and work with a talented pool of freelancers.


What This Role Involves -


Understanding the brand and briefs:

You will be the first point of contact for the business teams with respect to any incoming briefs from the client. These requirements could range from static reels, and podcasts to large-scale DVCs. You and the team should be proficient in de-coding the briefs, referencing, and helping them with cost-effective proposals for the same.


Project Management, Logistics and Profitability:

Organize and coordinate all aspects of the video shoots/photoshoots, which includes team formation from the freelance network, project management, margin optimization, and following end-to-end production processes. You should be proficient with numbers and Excel and must come with a good network of small to medium-scale production houses and freelancers.


On-Set Direction

Be the single point of contact for the client and the internal CS team for everything production. Manage the teams and output on-ground. Ensure that the creative vision from PPM is executed effectively.


Quality Control

Review and approve final output, ensuring it meets the brand's standards and guidelines. One will have to work closely with freelance post-production teams to ensure the desired output


Who Should Apply?


- Someone who has managed videos at scale (static reels, shoot-based reels, animation videos, explainer videos, podcasts, DVC)

- Has a digital agency/production house or a creative agency experience

- Ideally a minimum experience of 8 years

- Should be a self-starter and with an ability to work well as a lead

- Has an experience of handling and working with freelancer network

- Has an eye for detail and manages QC at scale

- Has managed high-quality teams
