Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development: Design and develop computer course content, syllabi, and lesson plans aligned with industry standards and NIIT's curriculum framework.
2. Instruction Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions to students, covering various computer science and IT topics such as programming languages, database management, software engineering, web development, networking, and operating systems.
3. Practical Training: Conduct practical sessions to facilitate hands-on learning experiences for students, ensuring they develop practical skills in utilizing software applications and tools.
4. Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance through regular assessments, projects, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their understanding and practical skills.
5. Student Support: Address student queries, concerns, and difficulties, both in and outside of class. Provide academic guidance and mentoring to ensure students' overall success and progress.
6. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment, promoting active student participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
7. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in computer science and IT. Continuously enhance your own technical knowledge and teaching methodologies.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other faculty members, department heads, and academic teams to contribute to curriculum enhancement, program development.

Requirements:

1. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required. Additional certifications or advanced degrees in relevant areas are preferred.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and understanding of computer science fundamentals, and operating systems. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software applications.
3. Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching computer science or IT subjects is highly desirable. Experience in delivering training or educational programs to diverse student populations is a plus.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
5. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, address their concerns, and foster a positive learning environment. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
6. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
7. Technology Integration: Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes, including multimedia tools, learning management systems, and virtual learning environments.
8. Professionalism: Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and standards. Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field.
