DESIRABLE FORMATION FOR THE POSITION:


  • High level of organization, Orientation towards Manufacturing Set up.
  • High orientation towards SAP (ECC) & ability to lead changes & transformation wrt. FICO / COPA & other areas of financial impact.
  • Expected to be proficient on Indirect Taxation and its impacts with focus on driving Commercial acumen for Controlling any financial transactions.
  • Proficient in adhering to Internal Controls & Business Processes / Accounting / Understanding of Indian Gaap / Multi-Tasking & Problem solving abilities.
  • Needs to have Excellent command on Excel & ability to manage large databases so as to deliver meaningful MIS for the management.
  • Respect for Timeline and Prioritize tasks & execute with Accuracy.
  • Team handling experience up to 10-15 people.
  • Organize and manage activities of Finance including active support to Plant Ops & Finance team.
  • Coordinating tasks related to Internal control and strive for continuous Process improvisation and drive financial consciousness at each activity of the company.
  • Responsible for Monthly/Annual MIS to Stake holders, be it Functional Heads and Board members.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting, Accounting & Audit

  • Responsible for the monthly closing of financial records within the corporate deadlines and to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly BU wise MIS and to report the same to management along with analyses and explanation of variance in financials on month-to-month basis.
  • To manages financial accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, ensures accuracy and timeliness.
  • Preparation of standalone and Consolidated financial statements with compliance of the IND AS on monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basis.
  • Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period.
  • To lead the financial accounting function and ensure all costs incurred including provisions & revenue are properly recorded, reviewing GL’s.
  • Responsible for the coordination with the Statutory auditor/ Tax audit/TP audit for completion of audit on time and to ensure no qualification in audit report.
  • Responsible for the smooth implementation of the Internal audit plan and to ensure effectively implementation of plan of audit observation.
  • To implement the accounting system of any new IND AS applicability and to ensure financial statements are available on latest accounting principles.
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Assets register and to ensure that addition and deletion are done on time in SAP.
  • To ensure the R&D recognition compliances are done on time.
  • Verification and Posting of Employee Reimbursement claim (Travelling/Phone/Conveyance etc.) and to ensure that claims are reimbursed as per the Company policy.
  • Posting of all the JV voucher of the expenses with 100 % accuracy and to ensure that proper GL and cost centre is used for each expense.
  • Preparation of monthly provision in respect of the bills outstanding to book in the SAP and to ensure the proper validation and accuracy of the provisions.
  • To ensure proper validation and verification of the vendor invoices related to all offices and plants which includes Rent/admin related/communication & IT/cab/ handling charges of the (DHL/ Fedex) etc.
  • To ensure the posting in SAP is in relevant GL and cost centre with 100% accuracy.
  • To keep control on the Darwin box data vs integrated between SAP related to the employee reimbursement.
  • Preparation of the Post-dated cheque of the vendors.
  • Providing document to the auditors during audit and to aid with completion of the audit in timeline.
  • Maintenance of proper file management and documentation and to ensure to keep track of the files available in office store and third-party warehouse.

Account Payable

  • To manage and ensure processing of vendor Invoice in SAP with accuracy, completeness.
  • Vendor reconciliation on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Preparation and publishing of Vendor ageing Dashboard to management on.
  • Calculation of monthly MSME interest and provision.
  • Keep control on vendor master.

Direct Taxation

  • Reconciliation of TDS/TCS liability with books of accounts and making payment on or before due dates.
  • Preparation and filing of TDS/TCS return on company whole basis on or
  • before the due date on quarterly basis.
  • Advising the team regarding the withholding taxes while making the payment to vendors.
  • Calculation of liability of Advance tax on Quarterly basis.
  • Calculation of Income computation as per Income tax Act and MAT.
  • Calculation of Deferred tax assets/liability.
  • Responsible for filing of Income tax return, Form 3CEB, Form 3CD (Tax Audit) on or before the due date.
  • Preparation of Documents to be submitted to the income tax department for the purpose completing the assessment.
  • Drafting of replies of the notices received form the Income tax department.
  • Analyses and scrutiny of the Financial and GL’s for the purpose of submission to the Income tax department.
  • Liaison with the statutory auditors related to their tax queries.
  • Filing of Form 15CA/15CB for the purpose of making the payment to the non-resident.
  • Preparation of the income tax assessment tracker and update it on regular basis.
  • Preparation of TDS receivable reconciliation with books of accounts and with 26 AS.
  • Well Versed with the Transfer Pricing/International taxation provision.


Indirect Taxation


  • Preparation/Finalization of Outward/Inward Registers for GST return filing purpose and calculation of liability using maximum Input Credit as per GST Act.
  • Preparation of all Statutory documents for Sales Tax Assessments/GST assessments and other on-going Notices/Audits at Department level.
  • To improve and/or develop system / processes (including IT system) for timely and effective management, compliance, reporting relating to indirect tax operations.
  • To effectively work with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, counsels, service providers to ensure 100% compliances.
  • Finalization of GST return like GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B.
  • Monthly Books and Return Reconciliation for ensuring the correct accounting of GST.
  • GSTR-2A and GSTR-3B reconciliation for ensuring correctness of ITC in 3B and GSTR-1 & EWB reconciliation for ensuring correctness of GSTR-1.
  • Update latest development & changes in Govt Policies, GST rules & regulations related to operation & its sharing with appropriate stake holders.
  • To ensure maintenance of all statutory records prescribed under Goods and Service Tax Act, i.e. Invoices, CN & DN, GST Challans, Return copies etc.

Treasury and Cash Management

  • Responsible for the projected monthly cash plan and to publish the same on last day of month closing.
  • Responsible for the managing the cash planning and payment on day-to-day basis and to ensure that critical payments are done on time.
  • Responsible on providing the financial data to the bank on monthly basis.
