Job Summary:

The role involves developing and maintaining both the front end and back end of websites and applications, with a strong focus on React.js, ASP.NET Core, and related modern technologies. The developer will contribute to building robust and scalable solutions, ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side operations.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Development Work

Frontend Development:

Develop user interfaces and components using React.js based on provided design specifications.

Work on implementing responsive designs and enhancing the user experience.

Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

(Preferred) Work with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.

Work with typescript.


Backend Development:

Develop, enhance, and maintain APIs and server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.

(Preferred) Leverage Node.js and Express.js where applicable.

Design and document RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end integration.


Database Development:

Build and maintain database structures, including tables, stored procedures, and functions, with SQL Server.

(Preferred) Work with MongoDB or PostgreSQL for NoSQL or advanced database requirements.


Cloud Technologies:

Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications on Microsoft Azure.

Leverage Azure services for scalable and secure application deployment.

Perform tests, troubleshoot software issues, and fix bugs to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate with other team members in Agile sprints and actively participate in standups, code reviews, and demonstrations.


2. Support

Provide first and second-line support for internal and external software applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues related to both front-end and back-end systems.

Support and maintain websites, including handling feature requests and bug fixes.


3. Data Analysis/Reporting

Analyze, document, and implement business rules and logic in software solutions.

Investigate and resolve database-related issues.

Develop scripts and tools to support data migration and transformation projects.


4. Documentation and Training

Create and maintain user and developer documentation, including API and process manuals.

Provide training for internal users to effectively utilize software applications.


Person Specification


Required Skills

Frontend:

Proficiency in React.js.

(Preferred) Experience with Next.js.


Backend:

Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and Web APIs.

(Preferred) Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js.


Database:

Hands-on experience with SQL Server.

(Preferred) Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.


Cloud Technologies:

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure.


Experience/Knowledge

Experience working in an Agile development team.

Strong understanding of full-stack development and integration processes.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

(Preferred) Experience implementing NoSQL databases in a relational database environment.
