Roles And Responsibilities


• Responsible for the development of new products, duplication of prototypes or making

modifications to existing formulas with different degrees of complexity, to ensure aesthetics,

effectiveness, target cost, stability, and overall quality.

• Stay ahead of trends in the cosmetic fields, build depth of understanding and share new

product concept approaches with the team

• Must have good knowledge of all normal laboratory equipment, FTIR, Viscometer, pH Meter,

and Moisture Analyzer which must be used to perform the essential functions

• Work on product development producing new formulas/products, and leading scale-up of

lab batches to pilot and production sizes

• Manage each project by planning, designing, and small batch trials to evaluate internally

• Write, review, and approve production batch as well as Pilot batch procedures, protocols,

and specification

• Work with manufacturing and QC team to help troubleshoot production batches

• Responsible for all steps of formula development from Stability testing/evaluation to full

production scale-up

• Interact with Purchase, Stock, Manufacturing, Packing line and QA/QC Department.

• Research of raw materials and vendor management

• Manage the development of multiple products simultaneously and be comfortable in a fast-

paced multi-tasking environment

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and as part of a team.

• If needed, have to visit the manufacturing site for Pilot scale up.

• Analysis of Pilot, R & D & Bulk sample, also compatibility with packaging (Primary analysis)

• Any other work as assigned by the company.
