One of our clients, a global giant in infrastructure and construction projects is looking for Equipment Planning and Maintenance Expert for one of the major dam construction projects in Arunachal Pradesh, India on contract for a period of 2 years.


Role Summary:


The RCC Equipment Planning and Maintenance Expert will be responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining all equipment necessary for the construction of the RCC dam. This includes ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that any issues are promptly addressed to avoid project delays.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Equipment Planning: Develop and implement detailed equipment planning and maintenance schedules for the RCC dam project.
  • Maintenance: Ensure all construction equipment is properly maintained and functioning, conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Procurement: Work closely with Procurement team ensuring timely procurement , delivery and commissioning of equipment at site.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the construction team to ensure equipment availability and address any equipment-related issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly to minimize project delays.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all equipment maintenance activities and any issues encountered.


Candidate Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment planning and maintenance for RCC dam project of minimum height of 139 Metres.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction equipment and maintenance procedures, excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with RCC dam construction processes and equipment requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
