What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement security for Salesforce by configuring Salesforce specific security controls 
  • Configure and manage user profiles, roles, permissions, sharing settings, workflows, and validation rules
  • Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Design and implement robust access control configurations in Salesforce, adhering to security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA)
  • Proactively conduct security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities within the Salesforce platform
  • Empower clients by developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities and ensure platform security
  • Document access control configurations, release management procedures, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Partner with architecture and policy decision-makers at client-side to define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and services that enhance Salesforce security posture
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, security features, and security best practices to enhance solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, software architects, and product teams to design and implement security solutions systems across multiple SaaS platforms
  • Design security architectures integrating SaaS applications with DLP, CASB, SIEM, SASE and SOAR platforms. 
  • Deploy various SSPM tools, API gateways and CASB platform
  • Develop SaaS security strategy and SaaS enterprise security architecture
  • Champion compliance, orchestrating continuous monitoring and decisive incident response to uphold federal and state regulations.
  • Lead by example, implementing cutting-edge security architecture, policies, and procedures to safeguard a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Illuminate potential threats through meticulous cyber reconnaissance and manage exposure with sophisticated threat and vulnerability management tactics.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in information security or SaaS security
  • 2+ years of experience configuring access or admin controls in Salesforce.
  • Experience in Salesforce administration or development
  • Experience with security risk assessments in a cloud environment
  • Working knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security best practices and compliance regulations
  • Understanding of application security lifecycle, OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Exceptional communication skills with a history of consulting and delivering secure architectures
  • High EQ to understand and support both your team and clients' challenges


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Proven experience configuring access controls in Salesforce, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Field-Level Security.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce data encryption and security features.
  • Experience with MuleSoft or similar API gateways for Salesforce
  • Experience with security automation tools in Salesforce.
  • Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, NIST, CSA CCM frameworks
  • Experience with MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  • Hands-on implementation experience with CASB, DLP and SIEM
  • Experience with native security within SaaS products (Salesforce, Workday, O365 etc.)
  • Salesforce related certifications are a plus


What Sets You Apart:

  • Prior experience crafting and refining cloud security templates, standards, and practices
  • Deep understanding of at least one major cloud provider (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and/or Amazon AWS ecosystems), focusing on security best practices and innovation
  • Good knowledge of API security and security concerns with SaaS to SaaS app connections
  • Proficiency with CI/CD methodologies, including tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Exposure to Salesforce and Salesforce Security is a plus
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI) and with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus
  • Security certifications such as CCSK, CCSP, AWS, Azure or SaaS app specific certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience with configuring security in SaaS environments such as Salesforce, M365, Workday, etc. is a plus
